Rent Collection Policy
Please review the DHB Development Rent Collection Policy. The detail provided is our attempt to enable you to have the information you need to plan accordingly and have an enjoyable and confident experience while you make on of our houses your home.
20th: Rent is posted for coming month and invoices sent
1st: Rent is due
5th: Last day to pay without a late fee
6th: Late fees are applied and accounts with a balance receive a 14-DAY Notice
7th - 16th: Accounts with balances are subject to collection calls
13th: 2nd Late Fee is applied to accounts with outstanding balance
20th: Accounts with a balance are sent to attorney (fees apply: approximately $275.00)
21st: Attorney will process account and schedule a court date.
* If you pay your rent after a 14-DAY Notice is sent, but before it goes to the attorney you will not be subject to fees.
* * If you pay your rent after the 14-DAY Notice and after it goes to the attorney, but before the court date you are subject to attorney's fees.
* * * If you do not pay your rent and the account does go to court, we will pursue an eviction and a judgement. Included in the judgment of the outstanding rent will be attorney's fees of approximately $275.00.
