Move-In Inspection Checklist 


Resident(s) will need to complete this checklist within two (2) days of moving in.
Resident(s) and landlord or manager will review property and completed checklist together and mutually agree on the condition of the property. Each party will keep a copy of the checklist.
Resident(s) and landlord or manager uses the move-in checklist during the pre-move out inspection and again when
determining if any of the resident’s deposit will be retained for cleaning or repairs after move-out.

Please BE SPECIFIC and DETAILED when filling out the checklist.
Inspect each room thoroughly, note the condition of ceilings, walls, woodwork, windows, floors and carpeting.
Check the condition of all appliances, built-ins, electrical outlets and bathroom fixtures.
Check drainage of sinks, tubs and toilets. Note any missing or broken components.
